Plain Compassion Crisis Response (PCCR) is a 501(c)3 non-profit humanitarian aid organization that was formed in the fall of 2014 as a response to the refugee crisis in the Kurdistan region of northern Iraq. As an organization, our vision is to demonstrate God’s love by providing relief in areas of disaster that are not publicized widely and/or hard to access.

Our mission is to equip our volunteers with training and leadership skills needed to make a greater impact on the field and deploy them to areas of disaster. 

When a disaster hits, it changes people's lives forever. They lose family, friends, homes and possessions, everything that is familiar and dear to them. We continue being amazed at the resilience and strength the communities show and how they help each other, but most of the time, the entire community needs outside help to survive. We reach out and our goal is to care for them and help stabilize the situation by providing for the most urgent needs. We provide aid where the needs are the greatest, focusing on the most vulnerable people groups, including single-parent households, the elderly, disabled and orphans.
